Student & Family Privacy

CheckPilot.ca is designed for education first, with student privacy and safety as core priorities.

For K-12 students in Ontario and across Canada:

• Students use anonymized usernames or IDs on the platform (for example, “student001” or a board-assigned ID).

• We do not collect full legal names or dates of birth for school-board student accounts.

• We collect only the information needed to deliver classes and simulations (e.g., attendance, lesson progress, quiz results, simulator activity).

• We do not sell student personal information or use student data for targeted advertising.

• Your School Board controls rosters, classroom lists, and the legal basis for using Check Pilot in the classroom. We act as a service provider on their behalf.

We follow student digital privacy standards recommended for Ontario K-12 classroom tools and maintain strong security safeguards to protect student data.
